Horsepix
was founded by David and Sally Waters in March 2002 and is based in
Stroud, Gloucestershire.
David has been photographing horses since
1996. Since then he has built up an comprehensive library of 35mm slides
illustrating all aspects of horses and the equestrian world. The
library includes images from birth
to old age, pony club to four star level competition, over one hundred
different breeds and a vast array of stable management.
David and Sally have owned horses since
1987. Their daughter Sam has represented Great Britain at FEI level, on
her event pony. She also brought on her horse, 'Welton Crack On', from a 4
year old to compete at 2 star and advanced level eventing. This included
competition at Gatcombe Park, Osberton and Windsor International Horse
Trials.
In April 2003, Horsepix invested in the very latest digital SLR cameras for photographing library images but also enabling the
launch of, Event Digipix, a specialist event photography service. Event
Digipix photographs many equestrian events, ranging from local Pony Club
to National breed shows and International show jumping competitions. |
